And seriously guys, read the SD Perry novels if you can get a chance. The character Trent she made is a total fit for Joe's. He's sort of like Destro minus a mask. And Caliban Cove and Underworld are so much better than the Jovovich films. To me, her novels are the canon storyline for RE.

God I'm glad you guys said it. I hate the Mila Jovovich RE films. Have you guys watched RE Degeneration and Damnation yet? They're CGI, but God are they so much better than her films. They're actual continuations of the games. I couldn't recommend them more.

The modern re-release of Dial Tone that came with the AWE striker in 2003-ish looks like Enrico Marino, Bravo Teams leader. And the Leatherneck that came with the re-release of the MCC looks like a random member of STARS. His head looks like Chris to me.

My RE recast would be like this: Chris is a young Duke, Jill a young Jaye, and Barry a young Shipwreck. Rebecca would be Covergirl or Scarlett. And all the other STARS are Joe's that died before the ARAH series or comics got going. And for Wesker I actually used to use that modern Blackout from. 2003-ish. He even had the shades.

The guy with the head band is Joseph Frost. He's the one who lost his arm in the beginning video. Dogs killed him.

Did you guys ever play RE Gun Survivor? It's the fps RE on PS1 and it wasn't the best RE, but still had its moments.

Have you guys ever seen Zombi Zombi's Driving on this road music video? It's all gi Joe's playing out the Thing in stop motion. It's probably the best stop motion with Joe's I've ever seen. Also, sorry for all the comments. I'm just commenting as I listen. 🍻

I think the reasoning behind blue skin tones for zombies, outside of the too zombie, is that in real life dead bodies tend to go a shade of blue after losing blood and decaying. I've heard this from both Tom Savini and Greg Nicotero in bts footage for Romero zombie films.
