Tuesday May 28, 2013
Tuesday May 28, 2013
In this episode the GI Joburg team roll out their top five fantasy picks of characters needing GI Joe action figure treatment. Paul hates on Megan Fox; Steve wants to peel April O'Neil's banana; and Rob has no idea who Jem is... ...not that Jem is in this episode. Why would we do a thing like that? Get your Snake out of its box and give it a whirl!

Have you guys seen dogs of war with Chris Walken? It's awesome. And totally Joe worthy.

I think it's cool that we had so many similar picks. Have you ever heard how Predator is loosely based on Beowulf? It's part of why it works so well. A story that stands the test of time. Great podcasts guys.

Elder scrolls and Fallout figures in Joe scale that have super articulation would be great.

@tetsuoswrath : Sorry I was going to say an o-ring Jabba would be awesome and have better and more practical articulation than anything they've done so far.

And I know you hey already make 1/18 Star Wars, but I have always wanted o-ring styled figures from it. An o-ring style for at least all the figures they made in the vintage line would be awesome. O ring Jabba. 😂

Rob's Arnold is perfect. You guys need the Leatherneck from the MCC re-release because he looks a lot like Dutch. I can see you guys having him pop up in a story and Rob doing the voice. Get down!

EXO Squad would be another great toyline in 1/18th scale. And Joe's have already went there.

Bond is a nice choice too. That car that turned into the sub would be perfect for Joe's.

I'd have to agree with Paul that the microman Batman figures from. 2004-ish would be a great Joe compatible Batman if it's not too tall/short.

John Marston/RDR is another great choice, but I'd also add GTA in general.
