TFA doesn't just rehash ANH. It's ripping off the Expanded Universe novels with the story of Jaina and Jacen Solo, twin children of Han and Leia. The amnesiac Jedi story is Kotor(Rey is basically Revan). Han's death is in The Force Unleashed too. TLJ used a bunch, Rouge One, Solo, and now Mandalorian. They claimed they got rid of the old canon for creative freedom when what they wanted to do was rip it off and not pay all the authors. They picked Zahn as if he's the best, again this meme of a consensus. It makes me sick knowing how little Disney cares about SWs and Marvel's true canon origins. 😔

I take the ewoks seriously. Especially when those two get hit by a atst blast and one gets up and tries to help his friend but he's dead. That was a great example of the depth the dwarves playing the ewoks were able to project.

To me, Jedi is the best SW film. It has the best space battle, best duel, best aliens, Yoda's death, ewoks, and Slave Leia and Oola's breasts. If you claim ESB is best I think you're into Han. 😎

I'm with Cujo on this. TFA and all Disney's films are worse than the prequels. But also, I think the prequel hate is really more the case of a popular meme catching on and influencing people's opinions on them. Listen to how you all talk as if there's a consensus that the prequels sucked. I don't think that and a shit ton of prequel fans don't either. I accept the author, Lucas's story as it was laid out before Disney came in and raped it. They're the real childhood rapers. And I'm of the mind that if you claim the fan title for Star Wars it means you read those ore Disney novels. That's the real post ROTJ canon. Disney is just making fan fiction.
