For our sixtieth outing, GI Joburg takes a look at something we've been itching to discuss since we started out - GI Joe: Resolute. It came out of nowhere and blew us all away. Or did it? Spin this (very) bumper episode for an extremely in-depth look at the show that took the 'toon out of cartoon... and replaced it with bullets, blades and bombs. Yo Joe!

That's the other thing I didn't like about Resolute: little to no vehicles and vehicular combat.

I he reason it wasn't an American city and was Moscow is Cobra was addressing the UN and the leaders of the world. So it was going to be a foreign city most likely and Russia being hit and it being a bad thing is to show US sympathy for Russia's people.

I don't like the front design of the Flagg in Resolute. That gap makes me think trouble in an emergency.

JJ is someone who doesn't do his research. He just watched the movies and then copies them. There's nothing original to his body of work.

Okay I've watched it now. It's good. But that kind of animation is always great backgrounds but cheap looking characters. And the voices all sounded like Steve Blum. They needed more voice actors or maybe the old ones if they're still viable. It had its share of problems though.

I've never seen Resolute. I need to check it out.
