Another seemingly lost episode has been recovered! Steve makes some Mint In Sealed Box finds and begs the question: to open, or not to open? What are the rules, the do's, the dont's? Vintage sealed items are like catnip to collectors. But once you take them home, are they to be pretty wallpaper? Or do you crack those suckers open and wage war like it's nineteen eighty-four? Lot's of question marks in that blurb... tune in. Find answers.

I wasn't expecting the crotch talk. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. 😂

As an American from the Southwest and born in 85, I can tell you that most male native Americans in their 30's when I was 5-10 so 1990-1995 were pretty much just like Spirit in dress and attitude. They were all kind of new age-ey and dressed like a mix between a cowboy and a 60's-70's "Indian". It's like I told Strydent about Big Lob, it's a case of white guys that aren't racist trying to be inclusive and an outrage culture that's always offended by what white people do that take it the wrong way. It happens to this day even for far leftist people trying to be inclusive to blacks/Hispanics/etc. And no one ever mentions the white stereotypes on Joe. Duke, Snake Eyes, Gung Ho, Lifeline, etc. These are all stereotypes of white guys. Gung Ho is always having to mention gumbo because he's from Louisiana and Cajun. He's got an open vest, giant tattoo, mustache, is kind of silly. I don't see the racism angle so much as stereotype angle. But stereotype characters are great because you know them better than some completely random personality. Sorry for the heavy post. Just feel like people take things too literally on Joe's and Star Wars kind of franchises. 😅
