The idea that you should "divorce yourself from the source material" is giving too many bad adaptations a pass. They shouldn't even attempt an adaptation if they're not going to stay true to the source material. There's literally no point in making a new version of a pre-existing source material if that original one is good enough to warrant making a live action film. If the source is good enough for a film adapt it faithfully or not at all or we're going to keep getting crap like this, Disney Star Wars and Marvel, current Trek, etc.

I had a personal computer in the early 90's that had two a floppy drives guys. I don't see the oddity in mainframes comp. 🤔
