I call the Mandalorian the Blandalorian because it's boringly predictable and he's just a Disney rip off of Fett. So everything he does just falls flat. The baby Yoda is a slap in the face and the fandom menace types that hated the sequels were coddled by a baby Yoda doll. Disney used kawaii effect as a weapon like mindbender. I also don't see the quality of acting thing. I do like the visuals but that's because they copied ideas from the EU and I like the EU. I hate that Disney has ruined Marvel and SW for me, CBS ruined Trek, and Hasbro and Indy toy makers have been ruining toy collecting. It sucks.

In SW they speak "basic". It sounds like English to us because it's a movie/show. We have to be able to understand it. If their galaxy was real and we went there it wouldn't sound like English. Taking what's on screen that literally means that we have to notice when things are props made out of trash or that there are humans. That's the problem with Disney's SW. They are too self deprecating and fourth wall breaking and they don't get how the universe works. They take what's shown on screen as the literal events. Lucas said the narration of these films is Threepio retelling the Star Wars. So what's on screen is as accurate as Threepio can get it from secondhand information he got from the OT characters.
