A toy I regret buying were the movie transformers I bought that I didn't really look at to see how they move or pose etc. There's a bunch of decent ones but also a bunch of bad ones and I had a bunch. My cousins were happy to get them all though. A figure I regret losing I didn't really lose, I sold and it wasn't one figure it was a lot of Toy Biz Marvel Legends and some Showdown. I have regretted it ever since because now I want those figures in my collection again to show what my Hasbro Legends are paying homage to.

I think a cool topic for a podcast could be about that friend we all had as kids who had a lot of toys. I had a few and was that guy for a few as well. It's neat that our generations had these miniatures that we would practice conflict with. And that friend was like an arms dealer.

Transformers were always something that I wanted but didn't collect. I started to during the beast wars era but star wars and micro machines were my main focus as a kid. When the films happened I collected some of them and most were meh for me. But some were neat homages. Some just interesting designs. I like that F-35 autobot, still have him. And the ROTF Soundwave is bad as a Soundwave figure cause no tapes, but I like its design. It can alt mode into tons of stuff. An owl, ships, scorpion, dragon, whale, triceratops, etc. It's a great figure. And some of the construction ones are pretty good. But those really detailed articulated ones that look like the g1 versions are the coolest now. I would want a series that's like the one they did for the movies that has figures of the humans to sit inside, but in Joe scale. That would be f-ing epic AF. I'd bitch about the prices I'm sure, but I'd collect that line. Just do the basic cars in the g1 style and have their vehicle forms have enough space to seat Joe's. They could do one F-15 jet and get a bunch of use out of it.

Here in the US we had the Expanded Universe and quite a few games in the early 90's. And it's apart of the pre Disney canon. The Prequels actually use some EU references. So for me and my friends we had a blast. Jar Jar was just mildly annoying like Threepio so it's great for us. Those Kenner figures were always used to play out Luke making the temple on Yavin and gathering Padawans once we knew more. I was happy when Hasbro got involved and we started getting more articulation after a brief stint of action statues in the early 2000's.

They're actually reconsidering the YF-23 to replace the F-35.
