Episode 133: Definitive Cobra La
Friday Dec 07, 2018
Friday Dec 07, 2018
It was the podcast that almost never happened... three times (at least). Maybe we should have taken the hint... But we defied fate and the powers that be to bring you a discussion of the greatest controversy classic GI Joe: ARAH ever produced: Cobra La (lalalalalalalalalala!).
We talk the three-pack, weird historical coincidences, and our VERY varied reception of this animation milestone. Plus a little much needed reflection and thanks-giving for the epic year that was 2018.
Yo Joburg everybody!

Cujo, are you a flat earther? Or at least speculating on it? If you are, I just want to point out that the Bible only describes it as a flat disk in the KJV. If you look at the Hebrew for "four corners' it's more like four extremities. Which is like saying the Cardinal directions. And there's scripture where it says Gods Mercy is as far as East to West. Meaning infinity since the earth is globular. I've also seen the curvature in videos in places that can't be explained through fish eye lens. The flat Earth theory is control. And it's the UN trying to demonize theism by saying these crazy theists think the earth is flat. Think about it. They're co-opting religion and o destroy it and replace it with a new set of Control: science.

Psuedo science is half science. So it's science but only in theory. 😏

I think there's an ice dome in a lot of 30's-40's sci fi. And I think Lost World has one.

Also, I don't think the Enterprise ever went to the delta quadrant. Voyager did. And I know the ENT D went beyond our Galaxy. But I think the D also went to delta when they met the Borg first. So I guess you're right. 😅🍻

Nah pretty sure the sequel trilogy is worse than the prequels already. The prequels didnt kill off Han and luke or emasculate them. And you can't say it emasculated Vader when Anakin became Vader. Not the other way around. And I know from life experience that the prequel hate is a meme like Stormtroopers not being good shots. Its only true for those that want inclusion from the meme.
