It is the same if you join the French Foreign Legion, you may bring your country's traits with you but what country's flag is on your uniform...France. Regardless of the glamorous nature of the Legion to etc., you joined to become part of the French Foreign Legion that went all over the world, not to force the French Legion to accept you, your flag or your country's idealogoy.

It's simple, you don't like America then leave it! No one is forcing you to be here at all, In fact there are millions willing to take your place at any time. America is not perfect but which country is? As a proud American Veteran I am not ashamed of my country. GI Joe is an orginal American Hero, get over it. Sure it combines those of different nations who bring great skills to the team just like immigrants to America but what force did they join? GI Joe...a Real AMERICAN Hero.
